Arco Unleashed — Bookworm Edition

Take your Phrozen Arco off Buster.

The factory stack is frozen at Debian Buster and Klipper v0.11, and Buster is end-of-life. This puts the printer on Debian Bookworm with Klipper v0.13 — and keeps the serial touch display, both MCUs, the chamber light, input shaper, the optional AMS and the PhrozenGo app working.

Hardware mods

Documented Arco modifications, service tools and experimental designs with status, source, download and compatibility notes.

Before you flash anything. Two things on a factory Arco cannot be downloaded again once the eMMC is overwritten: Phrozen’s gateway — what the display talks to — and your own calibration. The installer rescues the gateway for you while it flashes, and refuses to write if it cannot. The calibration is yours: back it up first, in Step 1 of the manual.
